The race was larger than last year, but unfortunately six participants could not attend due to flooding caused by heavy rains in Italy. We will publish another extensive report of the show, but first we rejoice you with an overview of all the Major Awards of the Koi Show in Italy.<\/p>\n

Grand Champion<\/abbr> A Italian Koi Show 2023 – Matteo Bondioli<\/h4>\n

The owner’s name is Matteo Bondioli. When you say Matteo, everyone knows what you’re talking about. Matteo attended the Belgian Koishow and visited Italian hobbyist afterwards. The Kohaku<\/abbr> was bred by Sakai Fish Farm<\/abbr> and belongs to size 7. The striking thing about this fish is its magnificent physique.<\/p>\n

Matteo was clearly delighted, and this was reflected in the favor factor he received from all his friends and fellow members of the Italian Koi Association.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

He had to compete against another Kohaku<\/abbr> from the same contestant, which had slightly better skin quality but less mass and smaller body size. In the end, Sakai Fish Farm<\/abbr>‘s Kohaku<\/abbr> won.<\/p>\n

Grand Champion<\/abbr> B Italian Koi Show 2023<\/h4>\n

The Grand Champion<\/abbr> B is also a formidable fish, a beautiful Doitsu Karashi with velvety skin and graceful appearance. This fish has a streamlined and balanced physique, which is unusual for a Doitsu.<\/p>\n

Supreme Champion<\/abbr> A Italian Koi Show 2023 – Matteo Bondioli<\/h4>\n

Jumbo Champion ZNA Italian Koi Show 2023 – Fast Lab<\/h4>\n

\"JC\"<\/a><\/p>\n

And let’s not forget the Jumbo Champion, the same as last year, a Cha<\/abbr> Utsuri from Fast Pond. This fish has an impressive pattern and skin quality and that at about 1 meter in length.<\/p>\n

And let’s not forget the fun Most Unique<\/abbr> Award. This was awarded to a special fish, a cross between a German Hariwake<\/abbr> by Aoki and a Kujaku<\/abbr> by Oofuchi. This fish, bred by a hobbyist, is very colorful and has a unique spectrum of yellow and orange hues.<\/p>\n
